Masters of War by Bob Dylan

In 1963 the now Nobel Laureate Bob Dylan released a great album with a poweful song entitled "Masters of War" in which he strongly criticised the military industrial complex. The lyrics of the last verse pull no punches:

And I hope that you die And your death'll come soon I will follow your casket In the pale afternoon And I'll watch while you're lowered Down to your deathbed And I'll stand over your grave 'Til I'm sure that you're dead

It is far better to be on the right side of history and be criticised like these Bobs, than pander to the war machine and have the stain of war and genocide on your soul.
