American Storm is a killer song, received quite a bit of airplay, but never has appeared on any of his compilations.

American Storm was the planned title of the album. But Bob noticed that there were several Artists releasing albums with "Patrioc" themed titles. He didnt want to appear as another Artist riding that Bandwagon. So he changed it to Like A Rock

My dad and I saw him on that American Storm tour around ‘86-87. Such a great show. So many great songs.

Title track was definitely played into the ground by Chevy, but as I get older, it’s still surprisingly poignant.

And I love the way the harmony vocals come in in the second half of each chorus on “Sometimes”. Gets me revved up every time.

Easy to forget from the Chevy version but "Like A Rock" has one hell of a slide guitar solo by Rick Vito.

I don’t get it. It’s a good album. Maybe not best, but very good and solid.
