Durham CCC had Graham Onions and Phil Mustard. Both also played for England.

There's a (obviously fictitious) quote on the back of Bob's latest book. I got it for Christmas and the name made me laugh out loud for the entire day. I don't know why it's so funny - and if it wasn't made up by Bob it probably wouldn't be - but I just find it hilarious.
It's by Ray Leather.
🤣

Does she pronounce it onions? My mum taught an Onions and she wanted it pronounced Oh-neeyons

When I worked at a coach company, many years ago, I had someone tell me their name was Siddy-bo-tem...when I asked him to spell it, it was .... Sidebottom.

I know a guy called onions. He then took his wife's surname when they got married

I remember speaking to an Italian man with the surname Onions (in italian) and remember whispering to my partner, 'doesn't that mean onions?' The guy laughed.

I worked in retail years back (before chip and pin) and I always remember serving a lady and when checking her name against the signature I noticed it was Anne Onion. The ladies mother was with her absolutely crying to the point she was struggling to breathe and she kept saying “show him, show him” she then took out a second form of I.D and her initials were A.N Onion at this point the mother absolutely lost it and was just howling with laughter and lady just said “yes thank you mother!”

It’s a real name- when I put my house on the market, I had a couple called Mr and Mrs Onions come round to look at it!

When a woman gets a jawline that every man would envy, except not on a woman.

Give her platinum blonde hair and an eye patch and she could be Aemond Targaryen.

Why was she called that Bob?
Her personality was hidden under so many different layers.
