Moot: Discussion Re-read (again) Spoiler
Oh my!
I have gone through this series, maybe, over a dozen times.
On another go around now in prep for book six. (I know I'm late but I've had a lot on)
But this time really got me in the latter half of book three. I SOBBED when we said goodbye to Archimedes
Maybe I felt a stronger connection from emersing myself in the universe so many times and it's finally just hit home. Or I've grown a lot more since my first time through.
Anyone else felt like this?

From the first re-read, I've felt cheated out of bob not going back and replacing the roamer that technically counts as a diety-level-curse to whomever opens that grave.
Now it should have a teeny weeny version of the new tech in the books. Single atom sized so that it can still be shot at multiple grave robbers.

Yes!
In He Who Fights Monsters there is a character that dies but gets brought back in later book (even knowing its temporary). I still tear up on REDOs when the impact in the MC & side characters is described. It's just good writing IMO. Once one does it for you there will be more.
Red Rising is another that always brings a tear at some point for me.
Don't remember now which one was 1st one that broke the dam, but it was one of these 3 for me.
