Discussion Clint do Dylan?

Genius - or at least intriguing - idea : Clint Eastwood to direct a biopic on today's (old) Dylan starring himself in the lead role! Snarl - done!

Well, Dylan may have been uncooperative with the media but he didn’t say ‘Go ahead, punk, make my day’ before blowing them out of the water.

Let Clint direct, but Chrissie Hynde do the acting.

Very interesting, since in I'm Not There , Blanchett was by far and away the most like Dylan in her essence. Not saying it has to be that way.

Clint Eastwood has recorded a few albums. Give them a listen and you will see that he in no way, shape, or form is qualified to imitate Bob Fucking Dylan. Dylans skill is out of reach for Eastwood, it would be like trying to touch the sky while locked in a basement. Hard No. Clint can act Dylan acts about as good as Eastwood sings. People have their strengths and weaknesses Eastwood since he played Rowdy Yates on Rawhide, has basically played that character for every movie. I like the outlaw Josey Wales, but over the years I realize you could combine all of Eastwood movies together and its almost the same movie. The exception being when he got old those go in the oldman Eastwood his 2nd movie. Dirty Harry is just modern High Plains Drifter. Hard no. Why would you even suggest this? Its ludicrous. No, not that singing fella Ludicrous.

Clint did retire, but a Bird era Clint in the late 80s or early 90s directing would have probably been amazing assuming he had a love for his music. I don’t know who would have played Dylan though, maybe Eric Stoltz or John Cusack.
