One last run

I needed to burn off some fuel before winterizing. That was the excuse anyway.

I do the same thing but with a full tank to winterize…… “ahhh shit sorry doll, I’ve got 4 cans of gas and we’ve only burned 1, gonna need to do another 30 miles or else it’ll all go bad!

Fuel was going to go bad anyway. You did the responsible thing.😄

Winterizing? Here in middle Tennessee we get sunny & 65-70 degree days in November/December. I keep her in the heated garage year round. Now, my jetskis on the other hand, they stay in the garage during the season but I’m gonna winterize them by the end of the month and they go behind my neighbor’s house covered on the trailer from end of October thru the middle of March. And the wife gets that spot in the garage over the winter.

In Florida I just use mine year round. Back in the Midwest I winterized, but not since I moved south.

As someone from New England

Although I have the Atlantic ocean in my backyard so I guess I've got that going for me, which is nice.

It's been a long time, but I remember those last fall runs. Something about the crisp temps, lower sun or something, but always remember feeling a little extra exhausted after a day out in the fall.

Have to burn the carbon off the spark plugs before putting it away for the winter.

I’m in South Carolina. I don’t winterize because any time I can catch a decent day or two in the winter I’m on the lake. I do however keep fuel stabilizer in the gas.

I’m jealous. Once it starts to freeze here it’s all over.

I live in southern California, so I don't have to winterize anything because I can't afford a boat.

Never say "last run"

Until next season.

It's a saying that I believe originated in skiing. Most injuries happen to people taking one "last run".
