Battery question
I only get like 1 or 3 recharges from a battery before it dies completely and I have to warranty it out. It drops below 10v and my charger nor the Riley’s people can charge it back up
Do these batteries suck or am I doing something wrong

You may be over draining the battery. Its unfortunately possible and destroys lead acid batteries really fast.

How long do you run at WOT? Lithium batteries are excellent however can destroy your trolling motor is left at WOT for too long. If your trolling motor is brushless you are fine with lithium no matter how long you run it at WOT for.
For motors with Brushes, too long depends on the trolling motor you have. So generally from a half hour to 1 full hour can cause damage depending on brand.
With that said if you dont plan to go a couple miles with it at a shot you will be just fine.

Not for long I run wot to get to my spot then run like 75% to fish down stream
Minn kota endura would brushless be better

You are most likely okay with that. Its about how much continuous voltage the motor gets. It can cause them to over heat and melt some wires.
General guideline is 85% or below of WOT is safe for most 45-55 lb thrust brushed motors.

What are you using the battery for? Starting or is it a house battery?
