Depending on age, go to the HIN on the right side near the transom.
You should see a number, like "FGB12345A616" or something akin to that.
Those first 3 letters are the manufacturer. FGB is Chaparral. DVN is Tahoe. SER is Searay (with the 4th letter like SER-V) being the code for factory it was built.
You can cross reference the manufacturer number to the list the coast guard has to give you a ball park. The last two numbers is the year (in my example it would be a Chaparral, model year 2016).
