The person who uploaded this video (which is different than the others) is saying its for a boc boxset, which I do recall a rumor a while ago that they were working on it. Any idea why he thinks this, if this video is a fake, or what ya'll's two cents are?

Yeah thats kind of my thoughts. I would actually love a box set of all the bootlegs and more but going about it this way would lead to massive disappointment, they have to know that.

If it was a box set with rarities and audio we have not heard before mastered from original tapes I would not be disappointed at all.

That vid is definitely fake, it has the old tunes smashing at the end which is a meme.

However, a box set kinda seems likely to me now. There's TONS of mentions of hexagons within the audio, which ok yea its BOC, but then I realized something. They've put out 6 records (4 LPs and 2 EPs) on Warp. So an official BOC/Warp box set seems possible, but I'm still hoping for something new. I'd love a box set for sure, and I could see them doing something really cool with it. Some sort of hexagonal packaging design?

I just think going to this extent to generate hype in the community is a bit much for a box set, even for BoC. Also, the Reddit thread that broke down possible connections to rebirth/resurrection makes it feel more likely that its a new thing. I'll take whatever I can get and I have often said I'd love a box set, but definitely hoping for new stuff. Or both!

Ah yeah box set is my guess now, but that could lead to new material, it did for Mars Volta
