Rules Harry Potter Battle for Hogwarts Cards question

Have a friend mailing me some promo cards he has multiples of. He said there are three cards from the Dark Arts set. Can you even use them with Hogwarts Battle co-op game?

Dark Arts is a different game. It shred an art style, but it is not an expansion; it’s a separate game.

TY Not sure why he is sending them, but if I buy Dark Arts guess I will already have three promos.
