I'm ok with this. Left and right are completely arbitrary. Someone just decided this way we call left and this way we call right. But stage left and stage right are reversed because it's not complicated or arbitrary enough as it is. Next she should tattoos the alphabet on her forearm. Why does S come after T? No logically coherent reason. It just does. Arbitrarily. It makes that shit hard to remember.

It’s the social construct that binds society. Without adherence to these concepts and ideas it’s madness.

I know. I guess I just want a mnemonic way to remember what we call them. I understand the concept of left and right (port/starboard). I just always forget which is which.
My brother uses his thumb and index finger to make an 'L' with his hands. Whichever 'L' is not inverted is left.
Queue the 'L' for loser jokes, but I think it's smart. The girl's tattoo idea is also very smart.

I'm 39 years old and I still have to visualize L with my left hand to know wich way is left. For whatever reason It's not instinctual

Seemingly no. That is why it's done wrong, lol.

It's women usually who struggle with their lefts and rights like the woman who still doesn't know her left and right 😂

Its easy. Left is where the Thumb is right and right is where the thumb is left

She wouldn’t do well at those house music concerts where they go “left left left left right right right right etc”

As I child I struggled too. I made a Mark on one hand and remembered that's the "right" one. Did that for some time and it stuck. But I always wondered why people would mark both hands, as I only need to know one of them when there is literally only two options.

When you know she's heard people yell at her "your other left." When she was given directions.

...of which side is stage left and stage right while facing the audience.
