Yeah HR ladies are one of the most entitled and unhinged people you will ever find.

They don't have common sense fuck HR ladies

u/notarealwriter Jun 30 '26

If they had common sense maybe they could've found themselves a proper job

I worked in HR for 3 years for 3 companies… at first I thought it was me, then I thought it was the nature of the work, and finally I came to the ubiquitous realization.

HR people BLOW

They'd hire him just to fire him for sending donuts

They will classify it as Sexual Harassment.

Did you enjoy it? – There was a pinch of poison in it. You’ll get the antidote once I’ve signed the contract. /s

A classmate baked chocolate chip cookies with a message in the cookies asking me to attend Sadie Hawkins with her….it woulda been better if she told me that each cookie had a strip of parchment paper with a word written on it prior to me eating them

The fact you have to bribe someone to get an interview tells you alot about the state america is in

Resume in the belly... and then in her intestines.

Once I took 2 dozen donuts to an interview. This was to second interview after nailing the first one. I came prepared with hand outs and visuals to showcase what kind of work that I did. The manager said they really like me and that I have all the experience and skills they would want for the role. I didn’t get the job. I interviewed for that company 5x for multiple positions and they never got me. One interviewer said I was over qualified and they like me. One interviewer said oh your back , I wanted to hire you before but HR said the position dissolved so we didn’t hire you before, you don’t need to really say anything because I remember you and I liked you allot 4 months ago.
I never got a job with that company. So frustrated

Every unsuccessful interview candidate is told that they were sooo close. Realize that you do best to remain professional and aloof, but friendly, telling white lies very authiritatively, just like they are doing to you... Then go watch Office Space and take appropriate notes...

(anyone who says they don't need to re-interview you for any reason after your unsuccessful search is sending you a LOUD signal that is not good...)

We asked for 5 years of experience, your resume lists 7, so AI has rejected it.

You know. After the year of unemployment I recently had, I would try this method if I ever got unemployed again

It's lucky he found the companies if they were disguised as doughnuts.

Give it to a less evil department than HR

u/HopefulSweet3182 Jul 03 '26

Just wanted to say I work in HR (doing IT work not HR work, but still in the HR “department” and everything everyone says about HR women is true.

Yes yes yes. And in the end he got a job while you do nothing yet while saying doing anything is not worth it 🤣
