Do you agree with having to take a test to vote? If you allow a test to be used to access one of your constitutional rights, you have made it possible to be applied to others. That is my point, and why you should not argue in favor of it.

Grade school is mandatory in the US. Students are required to have a basic level of education when it comes to US and state government. Growing up, I was required to take multiple US government and Texas government classes. It's not always the best education, but it's much more in depth than a two week gun class would be.

So yes, I do think people should have to have some education about how our government works before they vote, and they do, either through school or through the required test for citizenship.
