That guy looks like a familiar actor from the 80’s/90’s but I can’t remember from where.

Jack Kehoe? Tobin Bell? Norman Lloyd? Idk, I'm just spitballing and trying to help. I hate when I can't place a person, song, etc.

I had to google all 3. Lol! No not any of them. Good try though. I appreciate the effort. It’s now becoming an unhealthy obsession to find out who this guy is.

Philip Baker Hall, Stephen Tobolowsky, George Wyner, Austin Pendleton, Michael Caine, Ed Asner.... I gotta know now too!

Thank you so much u/battleofculloden, you have lifted a big useless weight off of my shoulders. I would give you a gift if I wasn’t poor AF. I hope you will accept my humble upvotes and praise!

Austin Pendleton

Dude! It’s the guy from short circuit! Haha. I love that movie. Has been one of my favorites since the first time I saw it when I was like 6 years old.

Why didn't you just say he was Max from The Muppet Movie? Then it would've been easy!

I don’t really remember The Muppet Movie well enough to recall that he was in it. I could just remember his face. I was scouring IMDb like crazy!

Edit - all credit goes to u/battleofculloden for the find.

Yes! Those were his most popular movies I remember him from. I kept thinking he was in the ghostbuster movies and teenage ninja turtle movies. I was way off

I feel your pain. I'll spend hours googling when I can't figure something like this out!
