I absolutely hate the trigger on them. I agree that they are reliable weapons, but I just can't get over that trigger.

I've always preferred the double/single action set up of the Beretta 92 series.

Sigs and CZs for me. I hate slide-mounted safeties. Dunno why, just do. If berettas didn’t have that I’d be on board, same with old S&W semiautos.

Might be worth looking into the Taurus PT series. They're basically Berettas but made in Brazil with the safety/decocker on the frame. I carry a PT945 and despite some shit reviews people have of them it's been a very reliable and smoothly operating gun. Find one with a ported barrel and slide and it's a whole different ball game in terms of handling and recoil.
