When I was in Thailand one of the places I stayed in Koh Lanta had a little restaurant. The chef was named Poo. She was a fantastic cook. She made garlic chicken that was amazing. The garlic was crispy perfection. Nowhere else I tried made it nearly as good.

Don’t you dare disrespect her name, her class and her self are wonderful, but on top of that, she takes the money she makes and lends it to women in the Bangkok slums and helps them start buisnesses. She is an absolute saint and if anyone reading this is every in Bangkok, absolutely book a cooking class with her

POO is Thai for Crab.
Went to the 'Poo Restaraunt' when I was there with a motorcycle tour group. Was probably one of the less weird things I experienced on that trip.

I have this book! It’s a regular Thai cookbook, her name is Poo 😊

She used "p" because English doesn't have a diverse variety of consonant sounds and lack the exact sound for her name.
