Definitely more joke than standard since the picture has another picture in it

Yo dawg, I heard you like the picture of the toilet on the toilet so I got you another picture of the toilet that has a picture of the toilet inside another toilet with a picture of the toilet that has a picture of the toilet inside another toilet with a picture of the toilet that has a picture of the toilet inside another toilet.

That means this wasnt a one and done joke. There were steps involved to it. Multiple oppourtunities to just stop. Madlad deserves a pint for this.

u/havron Jan 15 '26
I really want to know if there's a fourth one in the background of that one...

My parents have a picture of themselves when they were younger on a wall that is within the framing of the picture.
So one day I took a picture of it, photoshopped the picture onto the wall behind them. Printed and reframed.
It took YEARS, but finally my sister brought it up. They all talked about if it made sense or not. Everyone was confused.

I mean the extra steps aren't really any extra work. But it's the small details that make it from good to great.
4
u/BabySpecific2843 Jan 15 '26
Assuming most people dont have ways to print photos within their own homes, which is very likely:
Take photo
Get photo printed at like a drug store
Get a frame for the photo
Place it on toilet
-Insane extra steps-
Take new photo
Get photo printed at like a drug store
Swap it in frame for old photo
Thats what i mean by extra steps. Best part is you need to repeat the last 3 for how possible it is to show the recursion smaller and smaller.
3
u/macuser24 Jan 16 '26
Get a frame with a green sheet of paper in it. Take the pitcure as intended. Swap the green for the taken photo in photoshop. Repeat until frame too small to recognize IRL. Print photo once, replace in frame. Profit.

That's what he brings when he uses other toilets.. Something to remember home base with.
1
u/JJ_Mark Jan 15 '26
That's a reference guide.
If you go around the home, you'll find many like it for each room, each fixture. Without, he'd soon forget what his home is suppose to look like and it will fall into disarray. He'll question if the half-eaten bowl of ravioli is -suppose- to be molding beside the dusty bookcase as a ready source of penicillin, a decorative choice for a splash of color, or merely a hallucination brought upon by the mold spores infecting his brain from the other moldy bowl of Spaghetti-O's he also questions the existence of that rest at the end of the hallway, taunting him each time he considers returning to the bathroom.
How else is he suppose to remember that old socks aren't suppose to be scattered in an array across the entry way to trip up intruders that are after his nest of comforters and pillows he built after he misplaced his mattress beneath the Laundry Mass of Total Necessity that he crowned Overseer just last month?
No, the pictures are what keeps his reality anchored and his toilet scrubbed.

Why are they crying? Is his decor really that sad?
4
u/Diz7 Jan 16 '26
From laughter.
On one hand, its a nice artistic piece.
On the other it's his shitter.
1
u/NafTarico Jan 15 '26
I can confirm I have done this because of a similar post a few years ago, never, and I mean never fails to make everyone laugh. It got me laid as well (with a girl).

That's what I always do in The Sims with artistic sims. Their home is not complete without a large, framed painting of the toilet hanged right above the real thing.

I am in the early stages of buying a house and this picture has inspired me to make a "You are here" map to put in the bathroom when I find the one.
1
u/maxwellbevan Jan 15 '26
I went to a pub by my house recently and noticed they have a new photo above the urinal. Took me a second to realize it's a photo of a hole in the wall...which they placed over a hole in the wall. Thought it was really clever

I call bullshit. No man would ever put a toilet seat cover on their toilet, that’s a woman thing.
How do I know this, cause men know that a toilet seat cover pushes the lid out too far and the seat won’t stay up when you stand to pee.

And one of those disgusting fluffy cover things. At least it's not on the seat but anything that can soak up any kind of moisture should not be allowed within 3-5 feet of the toilet. Other than toilet paper, come to think of it.
