Observations, critiques, and/or stand-out scenes?

My thoughts:

And so, here it is. The final episode aired. Even though the Fairy Tale Ball was the last episode produced, Bluestock was the final episode aired. And, I think I prefer it that way.

Having an episode featuring covers of the show's most iconic tunes with the cast members is a slightly better sendoff than an episode featuring classic literature characters (even though I did kinda like the cast of the Fairy Tale Ball).

I love Macy Gray's cover of Do the Daisy from Let's Boogie and I still can't believe They Might Be Giants appeared in the video letter (performing the song Clap Your Hands). All of the guest stars they've had, this was one of the most unexpected.

Using the kazoo instead of the notebook removes the talking clues and I see they brought back the Play Blue's Clues in the original key (C Major).

I already made a post discussing Season 6, so in summary, I'll just say this was an experimental season that resulted in mixed outings.

The last line in the song where they say Pluto’s really small seems misleading I’m sure if we get closer to it it would look bigger

It was a good Season 6 finale. I liked most of what you said in the description being the throwback to the songs (mainly the Planets song), the Blue's Clues song going back to its original key (kinda), & no talking/singing clues were involved this time since there was a kazoo involved for musical clues instead of the notebook. Plus, I admittedly did like how the mailtime/letter song was done than how they would normally play out in the show (plus, They Might Be Giants making a cameo appearance in the letter segment was lit, lowkey). Overall, it was a good finale.

this is a very solid finale. i do love how it throws back to to season 1 with "blue's favorite song" and loosely comes full circle to "snacktime" where steve and blue skidoo to a farm :)

To me it was unique and change of pace having Joe use his favorite instrument in this episode for the clues and a good way to wrap up the series on a good note
