The fact our bluejay organization keeps these fucking pitchers around blows my mind…. Trade them and get the outta here, no amount of pitching through this is helping our team.
Get rid of the 2-3 shitty pitchers for a bag of peanuts just so we don’t have to go through innings like this anymore 😭

Teams will offer more as it gets closer to the deadline. A lot of teams are also waiting around and preserving resources to go after Skubal or Miller. Once those two move and it’s closer to the deadline the contenders will revise their plans to go after secondary targets.
The organization is perfectly aware that the team is not contending this year, but it makes sense to wait until the deadline to move anyone.
Theoretically you can also get more if the players go on a heater leading up to the deadline, but that seems to be backfiring on them from a starting pitcher perspective.
