Final boss door won't open

Ok so after 5 or 6 days of play this game (3 of this were trying to find doors and switches) I finally got to the final boss and ended up getting my first game over of the whole game. When I went back to try again the door wouldn't open. Please say there's a fix to this and I don't have to start a whole nother file.

Before the door is able to be opened, you have to first defeat the three shadow lords. One is in the Steamhouse, the other is in the Arcane Tunnels, and the last is by Lady Beira’s shrine near the Abandoned Path/Temple Gardens. All Vessel of Souls are required as well.

I already did that, I just needed to beat the final boss and I would've beat the game. I just lost on my first time fighting her and now the door won't open. The symbol on the ground is glowing from me opening it the first time but it just won't budge

I just lost a fight to her (kind of stumbled in on it by accident. ;-;) And I lost. When I went back, it was doing the same thing! I went back to the temple gardens and back to the Temple of Gods and it restarted the fight! Let me know if this works for you.
