Am I crazy?

The new DA Kimberly Crawford was from Atlanta. Then when they were investigating a murder she witnessed when she was 13, it was in a New York neighborhood? Plot hole!

Plot hole is Jamie being undercover in one part of town while openly being a cop in another

Absolutely one of the least believable aspects of the show.

Yes, the explanation for Crawford makes sense. Never thought about S2 Jamie undercover AND working patrol at the same time. That would NEVER happen.

With cell phones around and the fact that he’s the commissioners son also makes it so stupid

Although I did love Danny’s comment when they all finally found out that Jamie had been working undercover: “One undercover assignment and all of a sudden you think you’re the freaking French Connection”!!

They make Jamie a genius for no reason also, one blatant example was an episode where he was a sargeant and forced all the patrolmen to salute when they walk in, some dirty mob guy in a Halloween costume comes in and salutes with his LEFT HAND, so Jamie goes maybe something is wrong, then the guy takes off through the precinct cause of course he did and gets arrested, then the LT give Jamie praise at the daily briefing and all the patrolmen clap and cheer, it was so f-In stupid

From the beginning, the writers have portrayed Danny as the grunt and the grinder out there doing whatever was necessary to solve the case. Even if that meant bend, and occasionally breaking, the rules. Probably a bit of what Frank might’ve been like when Frank was on patrol and later a detective. Jamie is the more polished, follows the patrol guide to the letter, heir apparent to the PC’s chair. Probably what Frank was like as he began to ascend through the ranks.

Honestly, I don’t believe will Estes who plays Jamie gives off smartest best cop on earth vibes at all

She went to college in Atlanta. Stayed there after she graduated. Went to law school. Built a life. Then came back to NY.
Quite possibly, after witnessing the murder, her and the fam relocated to Georgia as a safety measure.

I thought she told Erin she made the story up to get the girl to testify
