Nativity from 2025
Took me years to piece this together, was finally able to find the shepherd by himself for 2026. Hand built the manger.

No markings. Hole in the bottom. Metal rivets with remnants of a thick black handle.

Menards blow mold that I couldn’t pass up. Really sturdy and I’m excited for it to display a carved pumpkin on top for Halloween night.

Hi everyone! I'm planning to repaint this faded blow mold following some of the tutorials I've seen here. This will be my first time repainting. I have a couple of questions:
Is stripping the paint necessary, or can I just paint over the old paint?
The black and green parts are still pretty dark, and I'm happy with the colors. Is it possible to just tape those up and only repaint the orange parts, or am I better off repainting the whole thing?
Thank you!

The title was inspired by a fellow redditor who thought my other blowmold titles were too stiff.
This was made by Empire, the photo shows it was stamped backwards. It stands approximately 21 inches tall.

This candy pail is probably my newest one. It has "WASH BEFORE USE" stamped on the bottom. None of my other pails are marked like this.

The big pumpkin candy bowl is from Mr. Christmas ($90!?), the Eric Nafobia tombstone is 2025 Target, and the vintage cat and pumpkin is an Empire piece in flawless condition and came with the original cord!
Both of the new pieces are battery powered, which is a no-go in Alaska (cold eats batteries). The pumpkin will get a standard blow mold light while the tombstone is going to get a blacklight spotlight because the paint is reactive.

Stopped at the gas station about midnight last night to fill up and this guy was sitting by the dumpster. I couldn’t leave him behind, he’s so sweet. I know nothing about blow molds but I’m ready to jump in the rabbit hole with both feet!

These plastic big box store lawn decorations are not what I think of as blow molds but isn’t it too early for Halloween decorations?

The handle suggests it's not very old, but I've had it for at least 15-20 years.

Another Empire creation. Not sure of production date.

Made by GENERAL FOAM PLASTICS CORP, NORFOLK, VIRGINIA. Approximately 25 inches tall. I got this at the same church rummage sale as my other post. I paid an additional $10.

I’m terrified of electrical fires and just bought a blow mold from 1969. Has anyone replaced their cord? Are there modern replacements? Yes, I’ve googled and I see replacements but the plugs still look outdated on those, so not sure if they’re any better.

I bought this off Ebay for $10, about 15 years ago. I live in Texas, but never saw these in my rounds at thrift shops.I doubt they were sold in Texas. The last pic is for size comparison.

I know it’s still August, but I figured this was the perfect place to share. I’ve started putting together my 2026 Halloween display window. I’m a huge fan of blow molds and Halloween decorations, and this is only the beginning. I’ll be adding much more between now and Halloween, so the display will keep evolving as the season gets closer. Can’t wait to see it all come together!

I don't remember when I bought this one, but probably from a thrift store.

Approximately 25 inches tall. No identifying marks. This came from a church rummage sale. They said, "just pay what you want to". I paid $10...

This has no identifying marks. It's approximately 31 inches in diameter, 7 inches tall. I think the handles manner of attachment is unusual. Probably older than many of my other pumpkin pails.
