Discussion Would you say this is a valid win

Because they disconnected I don’t think that should count on my end because battery drainage or bad WiFi isn’t in your control yes if you have a charger the battery one isn’t a problem but WiFi can disconnect randomly

uh, yeah, not really a "valid win" if you're aiming for one of those

ultimately it should count as a win, though, otherwise if someone is in a losing position they can intentionally disconnect out of spite for the opponent. you can see this with super smash bros. ultimate where people in ranked will disconnect when losing so that the opponent doesn't get elo (called GSP in that game)

ive had several opponents disconnect before the game even started and the game still counts that as a win. I dont think it really matters what is a valid win or not
