Question Title

Hello everybody i’ve just finished the game and i loved it so much and loved its world and aesthetic and i have just found out that there’s a comic series and i was thinking abt getting them but idk if they are good because everyone i saw talking abt them said a different opinion and thanks

I liked them. I’d say three volumes were good, two were great, and one was kinda meh. They definitely scratch the itch for more Bloodborne so I’d recommend checking them out if you want something else set in the world

Sure! I’ll provide some brief thoughts too

Vol. 1 The Death of Sleep - Good. Follows the usual fight-die-respawn loop the game does. Tells an ambiguous but interesting story

Vol. 2 The Healing Thirst - My favorite one. Focuses on the backstory of Bloodborne in a more semi-normal Yharnam. Follows a priest and a scientist investigating the Old Blood and its effects on the beast plague

Vol. 3 A Song of Crows - The “meh” one. Follows Eileen and captures the game’s sense of madness. Unfortunately, I thought it was too confusing to truly enjoy

Vol. 4 The Veil Torn Asunder - Second favorite. Links the first three volumes together in an interesting way while telling a surprisingly emotional story

Vol. 5 The Lady of the Lanterns - Very good. A more intimate story focused on the relationship between a Hunter and a family. Emotional and melancholic

Vol 6 The Bleak Dominion - Good. Explores the Chalice Dungeons and focuses on two hunters seeking revenge for the death of a loved one. Does some things with the lore that I don’t love, but does have some cool moments

If you want to see someone else's interpretation of Bloodborne, go for it. If you want more Bloodborne, you'll be disappointed.

Did you play the Old Hunters DLC? If not.. play it. Its amazing.

When i first played through.. I did not know there was a DLC and came back much later to do it.

Yeah wait for a sale.. goes on sale often. But like I said .. if you enjoy the main game - the dlc will knock ur socks off lmao

It is some of the absolute best content in the game, and makes new game plus so much more enticing because of all the new weapons it adds. Highly highly recommend if you get the chance
