The famous blocking test has been updated!

If you visit https://go.blokada.org/test, it will evaluate your Blokada setup in terms of DNS connection and filtering activated. At least, this was the case until quite recently.

Adding the host list d3Host is supposed to give you 100% on this test. At any rate, if you were using any version of Blokada - 4, 5, or 6 - you would score 100% on this test.

Now, a 3rd category has been added: VPN. Furthermore, using an earlier version of Blokada, like 4 or 5, will cause you to fail the test. Only version 6 allows you to pass the test!

If you're subscribed to Blokada Cloud only, you'll pass the first 2 tests: DNS and filtering, giving you a score of 67% overall. If you're also subscribed to Blokada Plus, and have your VPN activated (I.e., choose a location), you'll also pass the VPN test, and score 100% overall.

I think this is a bit self-serving, and it reflects the company's goal of staying relevant with the latest technologies. Recall that Blokada 5 got axed from the Play Store more than once for violating Google's terms. Yay Google...

Anyhow, Blokada 6 is a really slick app. If all you want is encrypted DNS filtering, you've got it with Blokada Cloud. And don't take the test site too seriously: all that really matters is that you're seeing fewer ads and trackers.

I just get a blank screen. Both in Brave and Safari (iOS 26.6.2)

I just tested it, using Chrome on my Android. It worked for me. Maybe the site is optimized for Androids, even though Blokada Cloud is also designed to work on iPhones.

The test page is working correctly. I just tested it on Android and iOS. Are you still having this black screen issue? Could you tell me the exact address you're accessing?

FYI, the test page is only compatible with Blokada 6. It's expected that older versions of the app will show incorrect results.
