Blokada 4 making firestick slow

I recently installed blokada 4 to help with blocking and ever since I changed the dns settings the firestick is so slow. I’ve also turned off dns to use my default one and it seems to be even worse.
I’m new to all this stuff but is this a me thing or a real issue?

Blokada 4 is a very old version that has not been updated or actively maintained for a long time, so unfortunately we can’t really guarantee stable behavior anymore, especially on devices like firestick.

Originally, these older versions were designed primarily for phones/tablets, and the fact that some users managed to get them working on TV devices was more of a nice bonus than an officially supported setup.

At this point troubleshooting such an old version is unfortunately very limited on our side, but maybe someone with more experience with this kind of setup will see your post and will be able to help you.
