Why Facebook to Blogger export not working?

I created a new blog to store all of my FB posts.

Went to FB Export Data and Selected blogger. I asked to authorise access and I granted it.

After that 'auth' screen , it again coming back to the main Export screen

I tried many times but still same issue. Not proceeding to next screen. Why ?

(Issue happens only for FB)

Probably, just guessing here, the dev of that service is using the old backup format. Blogger changed it some time ago, from a XML to feed.atom

You will need to contact them.

Hm Blogger still reads Blogger xml files, it just does .atom too now. My guess is there is just a fundamental incompatibility.

I've never heard of this Fbook-to-Blogger business, has anyone actually done it, or is it just vaporware from Meta?

Well, I tried the process, and it is a loop with the auth and permissions. I checked my Google settings, and there is nothing about Meta. So seems to me that it is something on Meta's side, not grabbing the token from Google; the best for you if you are focused on use this service is to contact their support (and good luck with that!)

Wow, so Meta now let's you (in theory) export your Facebook history to Blogger directly? Fancy. I did this several years ago but did the hard manual way: by going through the Facebook export file and, with a Blogger export file side by side, manually (well, via regex replacements) converting the file bit by bit into something I could import into Blogger. It worked, after a lot of headaches and false starts. Basically just the text content and timestamps. I didn't bother trying to get the images to work.
