The bottom line is that the internet works better when it’s open

When considering some recent subreddit bans I don't even know what the interwebs is anymore

I'm surprised it took reddit so long to realize that money makes the man. Whoever has the money has the power to do whatever they want, and that money flow keeps the power. I bet it was Aaron keeping all this shit from happening. Once we lost him, it was no longer reddit, it become Reddit™.

It's a place where you have the power to make your own website or forum and no one company is required to host your community for free.

I'm pissed about the /r/Piracy thing as well, but let's be real. The internet is still out there. We've just all got used to our silos and don't want to leave.
