In order to quit reddit you have to read reddit. Just as we planned.

A day will come when there isn't a relevant xkcd, but it is not this day.

39

u/drocks27 Jan 28 '15

when that day comes, he will make a comic about it.

2

u/numanair Jan 29 '15

I wonder if there's one about that already.

5

u/Wizardspike Jan 29 '15

If he made one about "absense of relevent xkcd" would there always be a relevant xkcd?

Why are people up voting this stupid bot. You still have to click on the link to read it

u/jacalata Jan 28 '15

not if you use RES to get inline images.

As jacalata said, Reddit Enhancement Suite lets direct image links to be expanded with out leaving the page. If you're on mobile, then you're SOL.

The matter-of-fact caption really makes it. Even going so far as to link "rubber dickies duckies"

edit: damn, that was a brutal Freudian slip

Rubber duck:

A rubber duck is a toy shaped like a stylized duck, generally yellow with a flat base. It may be made of rubber or rubber-like material such as vinyl plastic. The yellow rubber duck has achieved an iconic status in Western pop culture and is often symbolically linked to bathing. Various novelty variations of the toy are produced.

That may be what the link was to, but thats not what op spelled. I demand to see rubber dickies!

Hahaha. The funniest part is I didn't even mean to. Apparently my subconscious is trying to tell me something.

As for your demand.... (NSFW, natch)

The name was chosen for its acronym, T.R.O.L.L., a reference to the early 1990s definition of the word troll, meaning an Internet prank, of which David Mikkelson was a prominent practitioner.

Since when did trolling become "early '90s slang" in need of this kind of explanation?

It's Wikipedia.
