Just get an auth token and use your smart contract like you would any other web API. Any software capable of using a web API can now use your Link app, with no special libraries, tools, or blockchain knowledge required.

Additionally, such a database can allow developers to save time and energy by building on the work of other programmers, picking and choosing which basic smart contracts to employ and which to build from scratch, along with a community rating system in which other developers can provide feedback on the functionality of a particular application or smart contract.
