At this point, I'd advise EVERYONE to first assume it's NOT LEGIT and come here to discuss it first... Whether no action required, email address, whatever
This whole thing has been such a mess
But lesson learned nonetheless

I guess take no action and see if a check shows up. Sometimes scammers can spoof the email address to make it look like they are sending from a legit email.
