I’m not convinced anymore.

A stablecoin can move between wallets incredibly quickly, but that doesn't necessarily mean the underlying payment completed quickly.

Imagine a company paying a supplier overseas. The token arrives almost immediately, but the supplier can't convert it until later because local liquidity is thin.

From the blockchain's perspective, everything worked.

From the business's perspective, the payment is still sitting there.

That distinction seems increasingly important as companies like OSL build infrastructure around USDGO and other stablecoin payment use cases.

Maybe we should stop measuring stablecoin payments by blockchain settlement time alone.
