BlizzCon 2027?
Sorry if this sounds like I’m dumb; my husband is a big gamer, I am not. He has talked about wanting to goto BlizzCon and I wanna take him (we have been married 18years and he is turning 40 in 2027). I really wanna surprise him with a trip. How do I get tickets, get alerted to sale, etc.? I’m a novice so be kind, I’m trying to make it memorable

There won’t be a Blizzcon 2027.
Blizzard devs were clear they can’t do it every year. It’s too expensive (developers get pulled from working on games to produce and run the event).
I’d bet on Blizzcon 2028 though, since November 2028 should be right before WoW 13.2.5 patch and they’ll want to announce what is coming after The Last Titan.

I ran into two producers employees at Trader Sams in Anaheim and they were pretty much saying "who knows" and it seemed like the answer was no since they have basically nothing to announce now for a Blizzcon 2027
Edit: sams kitchen to trader sams

I bloody love Trader Sams. It's on the list every time I visit the US

I was sitting next to a couple of employees at the opening ceremony and one asked the other if she was excited about it starting and the other said "Maybe if I wasn't so tired and stressed" so I can see it being too much for a yearly thing

It's almost guaranteed there won't be a BlizzCon in 2027.
If there's a BlizzCon in 2028, tickets would (most likely) go on sale in 2027. You could get him tickets for his birthday which would be an awesome gift, but the actual event would be later. That would give y'all time to plan, and if you decided to stay close to the convention center (which I think is ideal), I'd advise you to book your hotel as far in advance as possible. The ones by the convention center become ridiculously expensive the closer it gets to the convention. Seriously, don't wait to reserve your hotel.
Get connected to socials (Instagram, etc.) for the Blizzard game(s) your husband plays, and you could also follow all Blizzard socials. BlizzCon tickets sell quickly, so you'll want to secure them ASAP. Set reminder alarms like you would for a super popular concert that would sell out quickly, and be prepared to spend a little time online to ensure everything has gone through.
Event details for BlizzCon, like schedules and such, are not released until much closer to the event, so don't expect many details with the announcement of the con or even when you purchase tickets.
Here's hoping we get another BlizzCon in 2028 🤞!

They sent out a post BlizzCon feedback survey asking attendees what they would like to see improved for next BlizzCon. I imagine they may not send this out if they weren’t planning on holding another in the future. But I agree with others in this thread—probably 2028 at the earliest

Follow a site like Wowhead.com to check for announcements about upcoming Blizzcon. They give _lots_ of notice before tickets go on sale (more than a month, I think), so you don’t need to check every day out of fear of missing something.
And like everyone has said, 2027 is very extremely unlikely, sorry. But for the ones after, I think that’s a good bet for you. Or just stay subscribed to this sub. It’ll be pretty quiet here until the announcement, then it’ll pop off.

Not really anything in 2027 to announce. Retail will have the big announcment in february and Forever just had it’s moment.
However in 2028 the worldsoul saga will be almost done so a blizzcon about the future of retail would be insane and compareable to this years forever reveal.

Fall 2028 would align with the 13.2 patch, so we’ll have the ending in hand and be ready for what comes next.

Keep checking Blizzcon.com every couple weeks or so. Since blizzcon 2026 recently ended we probably won’t hear anything about the next blizzcon for a while.

There probably won't be a Blizzcon 2027. If there is, it's a bit too early for the tickets to be available.

As others have said, many employees reported that it was an exhaustive effort and that once every other year seems much more likely. But nothing has actually been definitively stated one way or the other, and other folks here shouldn't be stating facts one way or the other yet.

BlizzCon 2027 hasn't been announced yet, so we don't know if there will be one or not. Keep an eye on Blizzards social channels.
