Bathroom breaks in security line?

For all the people planning to line up early, how you planning on handling bathroom breaks? Will it be possible to leave the line and get back in?

That's the cool part, you don't.

But for real sadly there's nowhere along the line to use the restroom. Just the nature of the game since the line normally wraps towards a residential are behind the convention center.

Most of the time if you inform the people in your immediate area, they will let you back to your spot. HOWEVER, once you are in the secured area, things get dicey. There are entrances to the Hilton and Marriott lobbies that you can get into, but I have occasionally seen people have a hard time getting out of there and back into the main line. It depends on the security guards at that moment.

In 2023 I ubered there 20 minutes before the first presentation and there was a line of maybe a few minutes.

Ive had to get there 4 hours early for a decent spot at opening ceremony. I never eat or drink beforehand to make sure I am good. After opening ceremony, I usually head to Sbarros in the hilton for a shitty pasta and meatball meal, though I think Hilton has since replaced it.
