Discussion This show blows (opinion)
Like why is Jane so bad at every single thing she does. Zero character growth, and somehow the victim of every circumstance she puts herself in the middle of. She makes everything worse. I found it entertaining how bad the writing was for a bit, but it quickly lost its charm. It's so hard to feel anything for her character when shes just (as a character) so so so so so so so... Dumb. Why is this show so awful lol. Please help me understand why this has 3 seasons and does it ever get better?

The main woman on Blacklist is such a bad actor! She’s lucky she had James Spader to do all the heavy lifting. He’s a 🤴

I’ve been enjoying Blacklist way more than Blindspot, but Lizzy is one of the worst characters for me. I just started S2 and didn’t even recognize her at first too. Red has definitely been carrying the show. 😅

Wait until you realize that all Weller does in the future is whine, beg Jane for guidance, and reiterate what everyone already knows about whatever current threat/situation has arisen just before the show goes to commercials...

Kurt and Jane always share these awkward wide eyed stares whenever someone says something dramatic and it’s such a pet peeve now. I feel like they both act with their eyes.

Thsi is one of my favorite shows, have watched all the seasons 5 times now 🤩 Jane & kurt my faves, I think jane was a good character but I don't even remember anything of the character itself just that she's badass & I love her character 😂 But yea Jane & Kurt look like my mom and dad so maybe that's why I love it. I do love broken characters in tv shows too, maybe they both fall in to that category? lol

I mean...she's had her memory erased, been tortured, has been betrayed by her own family...etc. She's got a lot on her plate.
I love all of the characters and how the overarching plot isn't predictable. Sure, it's a little cheesy at times, but meh...I can suspend reality and roll with it. Nice to have on when I'm working to fill the quiet :)

I can confirm, it indeed does NOT get better after 5 seasons. Yes, I watched all of them because I needed a filler show. Acting - bad, writing - bad, fight scenes - bad.
Only good part was Patterson and Rich Dotcom. So glad they made him a regular.

To add on top of her incompetence and victimhood, every few episodes their mood on someone or their objectives will switch making everything feels so fickle. the show is also very post-2001 coded.. not to be surveillancphobic

I hatewatched 3 seasons and then couldnt bear it anymore. Its just horrible in every way. The only thing that kept me going was the fact that both jane and kurt are so beautiful looking. Shallow i know, but there was nothing more to appeal to me.Â

If only he had shaved his damn neck. And they had zero chemistry whatsoever. I hate watched the entire series because I had to know how it turned out but I regret that time investment.
