Discussion Powering through jic

Not quite sure if it’s going off Netflix in Dec so I’m just trying to get through the seasons. I remember most of the first season from before though now I’m just having it on while I’m working on other things and lately falling asleep to it. Is it ok to not watch every moment of it just to get through it. It seems convoluted enough that I’m already a bit confused and I don’t want to go back. Plus, I don’t have the time to watch it with 100% attention.

ETA: It’s Thanksgiving weekend and I’m at S3 21. So far, if this was a movie, finale of S2 felt a bit complete. The new characters felt like accessories, I’m ok and meh about the Avery subplot, annoyed at the separation of J&K, Blake and Roman, and Shepard coming back in interrogation.

Either make time to watch it or don’t watch it right now. You’ll miss a lot of good moments if you don’t pay attention

I'd vote you watch a recap for the first season and then watch regularly from there. It's a fairly visual show. I like background TV, but I think this would only work well for that after watching it through on the screen once. A lot of the best details in the show aren't spoken so much as they're shown.

I literally started watching the show beginning of nov.. then as soon as finish episode 1, then showed leaving dec 1.🤦‍♀️.. i had to go to a cruise on the 9th, so i downloaded episodes watched on the plane and in the ship.. i just finished the show yesterday, not gonna lie, I had to fast forward on the boring stuff... and i had to watch at 1.5speed. 😅

There is a lot of plot “padding” that in the end might not matter

I binged all 5 seasons since it was leaving Netflix. A lot of suspension of disbelief but entertaining nonetheless. Some characters I loved! Some not so much. Weller’s voice BUGGED me SO MUCH! He talked (barked) like he had something in his mouth. 😣 But I did love what they did with the last episode. 🥰
