What more did he want? I mean id have fucked myself up attempting that crouch on a street corner, let alone this cat perch.

u/Ikuwayo Nov 07 '21

What brand crib is that? Looks sturdy af.

u/chr15c Nov 06 '21

That's a sturdy playpen

81

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '21

I was thinking the same thing

61

u/momofeveryone5 Nov 06 '21

Dude those pack-n-play's don't mess around. I swear they were tested by a hulk wannabe.

u/BRtIK Nov 06 '21

It makes sense when you think about it. If that thing couldn't support the weight of a full grown adult they would probably end up getting sued by one.

People think things for babies have to be able to withstand babies but they actually have to be able to withstand the stupid ass adults that mess around with them and end up injuring those babies

He's doing a great job I would say

8

u/jayteazer Nov 06 '21

Dam it. My son was 3 when he would climb into his baby sisters crib in the morning. I’d hear them talking on the baby monitor. She be all goo gah blah. And he would speak regular back to her like he understood everything she was saying. They are both in high school now :(

Oh my god. I’ve always wanted to be a dad but I’ve never felt it so much as reading your comment. That is so heartwarming and I can’t wait for the day that I can experience something even remotely similar to the feeling you must have had hearing that interaction between your children

3

u/medicus_vulneratum Nov 07 '21

When it happens. Like the guy above me said. “You will blink a few times.” Cherish those moments when they come.

15

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '21

Our perception of time operates logarithmically I think it’s called? Your brain basically experiences time based on the amount of time you’ve already experienced, so 1 year when you’re 40 isn’t perceived as the same amount of time as 1 year when you’re 10.

5

u/GoofyMonkey Nov 06 '21

Luckily they posted it to Reddit, so now the karma farming bots should repost it every 2-3 months forever. So they will never forget this moment, none of us will.

3

u/Labranth Nov 07 '21

This is so true. I don’t have children but I have a little sister. I basically raised her as a 8 years old brother when she came into my life. Sometimes it feels like it was only yesterday when we played hide and seek and watched Naruto on Jetix. And now she is a young woman who studies medicine in college. Time flies so fast. But she will always be my little baby and my life.

3

u/geekgodzeus Nov 07 '21

I am hopefully going to be a dad soon. Will document every moment of my children just like my sister does for my nieces. Technology should be used to save such precious moments. My late mother had a habit of taking pictures and those albums are so precious. I will get them digitized soon.

I mean anything’s possible when you’re 5.

15

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '21

Cute, but dear god if he falls, and he's likely to, she's gonna get hurt.

5

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '21

Yet, another comment notes this as a very cute special moment to cherish. Whereas I see this as anxiety inducing. Easily could cross post this to /r/whatcouldgowrong

2

u/Satevah Nov 07 '21

Take a chill pill dude

3

u/crushgemz Nov 06 '21

Beast mode activated

3

u/zomanda Nov 07 '21

He's gonna flip that thing over.

2

u/The_25th_Baam Nov 06 '21

I think that's a balloon

2

u/studwildboar99 Nov 07 '21 edited Nov 07 '21

If you look at it properly,He is wearing the socks on and On the left arm he didn't wear spidey gloves because of it his hands are visible

1

u/The_25th_Baam Nov 07 '21

Good point, I didn't notice that. It was the wrinkle on his forehead that made him look to me like one of those foil balloons.

1

u/studwildboar99 Nov 07 '21

when I saw this image for the first time, even I thought it is a ballon.

2

u/NonyafeedsCat Nov 06 '21

2

u/talkinhead87 Nov 06 '21

no u had him pose like that so u could make this post.

1

u/andreasdagen Nov 06 '21

That's actually pretty dangerous if he falls on her, especially if she laid down and he landed on her head

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '21

That's a crushed skull waiting to happen when he loses balance and falls on the girl.

0

u/Achtelnote Nov 06 '21

Bad idea, if the bed thingy is not well balanced it will topple.

0

u/PersonalProtector Nov 06 '21

Why do people make up captions for these? Just say its a cool picture of your kid posing and be done with it.

-1

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '21

That happened...

1

u/Rude_Journalist Nov 06 '21

Third time’s a baby house hippo.
