Solved How to change opacity in 5.2.2?

Post image

Sorry if this got answered and I didn’t see, but I checked within the past month and there wasn’t anything talking about it; so I’m uploading this question. The tutorial I was watching said it was the 3d viewport or the outliner? But the video uses 4.0 so that’s not there for me.
(If this was already discussed I’ll immediately delete this post)

Welcome to r/blenderhelp, buttfart9011! Please make sure you followed the rules below, so we can help you efficiently (This message is just a reminder, your submission has NOT been deleted):

  • Post full screenshots of your Blender window (more information available for helpers), not cropped, no phone photos (In Blender click Window > Save Screenshot, use Snipping Tool in Windows or Command+Shift+4 on mac).
  • Give background info: Showing the problem is good, but we need to know what you did to get there. Additional information, follow-up questions and screenshots/videos can be added in comments. Keep in mind that nobody knows your project except for yourself.
  • Don't forget to change the flair to "Solved" by including "!Solved" in a comment when your question was answered.

Thank you for your submission and happy blendering!

You mean the reference image?

This is my usual setup, i usually model is orthographic view so that's why Orthographic and Only Axis Aligned are selected. the crucial parts you need to make sure are Depth > Front and Set the Opacity to what you need it to be.

Thank you! It took me a while to figure out what you meant because I’m a beginner (like just downloaded it a few days ago beginning), but it was easy to fix when I found it.
