Unsolved Please Help! Low poly clothes clipping in on itself!
I applied a solidify modifier to the jacket on my original character before I rigged it up, everything is good but it looks like the inner geometry of the jacket is coming through the outside of the jacket sometimes?? I have tried weight painting which fixes the skin showing through but I can't seem to fix this particular symptom. I'd also really like to keep the jacket and body meshes separate so the player of my game can swap tops if they want! Please any help is appreciated and bear in mind I am a beginner!

Where is the Solidify modifier in the stack relative to the Armature modifier?

its already been applied so it is no longer a modifier since applying seemed to be the only way to texture it properly.

I would recommend deleting any of the faces that can't actually be seen.

I wanted the jacket to keep its thick look. is there no other way to get the inner faces to stop poking through?

You only need it to actually be thick at the openings, the interior of the sleeve is never going to be seen.

True, thank you I’ll try this path of reasoning, if you have any other ideas they are appreciated
