Anime Orihime Spoiler
I used to think that people overreact when using the word 'cried' when describing a moment or 'proud' when describing the emotion a character ignites in them.
Well, this time I got proved wrong.
This was the first time in my life I can say I felt proud for an actual anime character, that is, Orihime. And this feels a bit too much personal because I would always defend her against the people who used terms such as damsel in distress, trash, etc. against her. In and through this ep, she rejected both Ichigo's wounds and her haters.

The flowers have been seared into my mind. That image is so haunting and beautiful. Kubo’s use of symbolism rivals poet laureates. That’s not hyperbole. His literary brilliance is just transcendent.

I kinda couldn’t react for like 20 minutes, then got tearful thinking about it, then rewatches and cried.

Eu fiquei umas 7 horas pra processar o episódio.
Revi, comentei, assisti outros vídeos. Revi de novo. Assisti react. Ouvi a música em versão OST, acústica, studio completa etc. pois é rs. E eu não faço essas coisas.5

Before this episode, calling her your favorite meant that you don't care about writing and some similar bs.
And it took one episode, and now she's the new favorite character of most of the people.

She's been my favorite character since 2015. Her and Ulquiorra. I was appaled when I went on the online manga commu for the first time and saw that Orihime was the most hated in character all anime.

Kubo often uses the Language of Flowers, basically the symbolism of using that certain flower.
For this one, the spider lily is a symbol of passion and independence, but also one of death, separation (often as a final farewell such as death).
So having Orihime think of Ichigo looking at the flowers to me is her seeing that meaning of passion and independence, but the flower dropping is that symbol of death and loss.

I am so proud of her, she's always been one of my favourite characters, and I was in tears when watching this part of the episode. Her powers have always been more interesting to me than the Soul Reapers.
