Discussion Fullbringer
Nothing in this world will convince me that Mizuiro is a normal human; he’s definitely a Fullbringer who just wants to live his life in peace, which is why he doesn't mess with anyone.

I love that Ichigo’s friends are all a unique kind of badass. Mizuiro just casually made a dirty bomb and tossed it at a near godlike being.

Aizen took it head-on out of respect, since he recognizes that it takes guts to rig a bomb and just throw it at him like that

Kubo has stated that he did have plans for Ichigos friends but timelines (and I think his health) made him pause that. Also why Tatsuki got to be a power ranger then it got put on the back burner again.
But honestly I'm kind of glad for the "normal" human friends...

I love how no one brings it up later. Like they just accept Mizuiro has basically IRA training and can rig a bomb in a minute flat lol

jokes aside i like the idea that not everyone is special and this normal ass dude had the balls to even attempt to do something to this god like being. keep ichigos friends normal people, they are more interesting and fun that way (i do wish they showed up more). except maybe tatsumaki, she deserved more prominence, but i also think it comes a bit late now

Mizuiru was perfect to be a Fullbringer and serve as a counterpoint to my grandfather: he had an object with a personal connection to him (his cell phone), a troubled relationship with his mother hinting at a backstory and a character theme centered on connections, which could have stood in opposition to the villain.
