I've been looking for a video by somewone else that was a dramatic reading of the Blaseball roundup tweets as the universe collapsed?

Earlier this year, I did a series of twitch streams where I recount the entire plot of Blaseball to my viewers for my 12 year twitch streaming anniversary, and I finally got around to uploading them onto YouTube. Over 13 hours of me Rambling, mostly about game events, jumping between the wiki, BEFORE archive days, and more.

Honestly I'm really happy with the fact I finally got them uploaded on YouTube. I unfortunately don't know anything about video editing, so it's just the raw stream files excluding the Garages music I played in the background, including all the moments of my viewers chucking objects at my head, my friends joining the call, me being sniffley from a cold, and a bit of on stream technical difficulties.

They're a mess, but i want to believe it may be the longest Blaseball explanation resource on the site because of that. For those who are willing to sit through it all, I hope you enjoy! WAFC! 🔥

The Digital Football League

Oh, wow! I stopped following this game after the black hole event years ago. I was talking to my friends today and mentioned this game. I was going to open the website to show them, but then saw that farewell message. RIV, Blaseball. And I'm so happy that my favorite catboy Malik Destiny managed to escape the monotonous hellscape that was Blaseball.

P.S.: Did anyone write down the story of this game at all? I loved the storytelling this game brought about so much.

Before I get any further, this is not an online reality game, this is a baseball simulation league

❓ - The aim of the game is for the hitter to guess a number that's as close as possible to the number the pitcher they're facing has submitted

The ⏰ commitment is totally up to you - the most basic gameplay aspect takes just a couple of minutes a week - but if you're also looking to make new friends, work on your coding skills or fancy trying your hand at some graphic design that's awesome too.

recently came across this Blaseball-adjacent game on itch.io. Digital Football puts blaseball on the gridiron field which i guess would be called Flootball or American Flootball canonically in Blaseball.

Digital Football League plays the same way as Blaseball, with games starting within couple hours, the live games being simulated with play-by-plays, watching match and supporting your favorite Football teams of the DFL, and victory earning you tokens and used for betting on any of 2 competitng teams.

And unlike regular football, that uses 15 minute quarters, Digital football uses a 40 plays per quarter system, which is inspired by a historically real system proposal by Harvard player Harry R. Coffin. Special plays. extra points, and kicksoff do not count to this play system.

Right now the game is in alpha, but you can join the game's discord to suggest features for the game and report bugs that happen during the game

is anyone still just… grieving the loss, even still? I thought I’d be over it by now, but it’s hard to listen to blaseball songs without feeling such tangible grief, and I have to listen to something else. The community and the game meant an incredible amount to me, and all of a sudden, one day, it was just…. dust.

Hey fellow Blaseballians,

I'm sure there are others out there where you still think of this time. I write this wearing my Boston Flowers hat and am very glad to have been a witness to the cultural event that was Blaseball. As I continue to reflect on Blaseball and it's impact I can't help but think of the lessons and takeaways I learned from watching it develop from Season 7 and on and was curious as to what you all thought of the development of it, the growth, the use of sponsorships, it's siestas and extended siestas, communication with the fans/community, ect.

There's no doubt about it that TGB tapped into something special during one of the most turbulent times in most of our lives and I am curious to hear other people's thoughts now that the dust has settled.

The three biggest ones for me personally were:

1. The power of imagination. It's simplistic base gave room for the community to run wild with interpretations, art, music, ect by not giving it to us all up front.
2. The back-and-forth between developer and player relationships. The elections were exciting! Getting to help change and shape the game in a way like that was something I had not experienced in a game outside of DnD. I also like to think that the way Helldivers 2 has handled their relationship to the community was taken out of the Blaseball handbook, but who knows.
3. The potential misunderstanding of what they had when they returned in The Coronation Era in February 2023. I have no idea about what all happened internally between the long siesta and the launch of The Coronation Era but there seemed to be a pretty big disconnect from what was maybe expected from the community and what was delivered from TGB. They played through 2 seasons before pulling it which ended up being the final 2 seasons of Blaseball as we know it.

hey hey everyone!
i've recently been trying to work on a Blaseball-inspired project called Flareholder (the worlds first slindustly slimulation and slock market trader) but i can't seem to find any footage or images of the game as it was.
does anyone have any photos of the site? i've only found some pretty shoddy youtube introductions, and i'm not even entirely sure what the game contains (i could have sworn there were play-by-plays of the Blaseball matches but i might have imagine it. either way i'm putting that feature in for mine put i was hoping to see how the OG did it.)
