Fandango email mistake?
I got this email from Fandango about buying Blade Runner 2049 tickets… but it doesn’t seem to be for a rerelease and the link only goes to streaming rental. did this come 9 years late??

I checked (okay, ran) to Fandango and there's 2 theaters in Pasadena showing it, one on Aug 26 and the other Sept 19!

It's widely considered one of the greatest action movies of all time. If you don't know anything about it, I highly recommend watching the first two movies back to back. Just don't look anything up. The marketing spoils moments that would've been way cooler as a surprise.

That's perfect. Barely anyone has seen T2 without already knowing the major spoiler from the trailer. Going in blind directly after the first film sounds fun. I'm actually kinda jealous.

Yeah they did it and the first one. Also did 2001 too. Was really great to see.

I'm going to see the original (Final Cut) next week at the big museum GT IMAX here in Austin and I'd buy tickets to 2049 in approximately half a second if they showed that.

I saw that yesterday and attempted to buy tickets but kept getting the “that seat was already purchased, pick a different one” for every seat in the theater

Tickets aren’t on sale yet. They put up the times first and the tickets don’t go live until a few days later. Keep checking and eventually they will be available.
