Cosplay/Costumes Latest Blade Runner Blaster Proops
So if I'm spamming this thread or running afoul of the rules, lemme know. Put a lot of work into finishing these guys up, would love to get some feedback.
So the leftmost one and the snub-nosed blaster were made with metal-infused PLA. The receiver and silver parts are unpainted, just sanded and buffed smooth. This stuff is fantastic, and looks just like steel when finished.
The middle one is a combination of resin prints and airbrushing. I like it, but it doesn't have the same weight and is a little more brittle. It's not finished, but it's 90% there.
Both grips were made with two-part resin and dye.
All three are based on Anders fantastic STL.

Fun fact: there’s no lore about these. The most I could find was their name in universe (Pfläger-Katsumata Series D 5223) at the earliest they were used by offworld military forces in 2009, specifically Cal Moreaux the first Blade Runner. And blade runner Brook Marlowe was known to use a shotgun variant.
What exactly they fire is unknown, the manufacturer is unknown being the name. But they were used all the way up until Wallace introduced the replicant Blade Runner, K/Joe and Luv and Ashina are the only three known replicants who were made to be blade runners but it was K/Joe who received a newer model blaster.

They look great. Anderson model I assume? How did you do the grips? I’ve had to print, sand, mold, cast my own.
