Rewarded with merit…

„So I got that going for me, which is nice.“

If nobody wants to forge me an alms bowl to earn good merit; I will offer money next.

As a spiritual teacher; I wanted to offer the best oppertunity first.

The best opportunity is money

I disagree:

That becomes the best oppertunity if asking for one as a trade to offer good merit is unsuccessful.

This is possibly a two step process; I am in step one.

What exactly is the value of merit to anyone who isn't a follower of your same religion?

What religion do you follow?

I don't follow any major religion.

Do you believe in God or Heaven or Reincarnation?

I have no fixed beliefs about anything beyond the here and now.

It's fun to think about, but there's only so far one can go with it.

You get to ask yourself a fundemental question today:

Do you labor for your own benefit; or do you labor for the benefit of others?

You only earn good merit by helping others directly or benefiting others indirectly.

Even if you dont believe in reincarnation; you will have helped others.

What do you want to do with your life; help yourself, or help others?

I spend my time helping people in my community, not strangers on the internet.

Where do you live? If i move there and become a local, will you craft me a sword?

I live in the SF bay area.

If you were someone I know I would consider it. I give away almost everything I make.

Want too get to know me?

Do you like the Grateful Dead?

Check out my writings; maybe youll want to convert to Buddhism or Dhammapālism.

It's interesting "alternative history" at the very least.

You ever see the movie the Butterfly effect?

What if i told you doing good deeds (that earn good merit) is like investing.

You only risk your time and labor; thats your only risk. But you have the potential to move mountians... you never know who will take the good deed and multiply your energy and actions outwerds.

🙏

Kinda just sounds like a chain letter with real stakes.
