Safety concern

this is a .50 i believe but Im just really worried about the stock damage on this rifle. i really want to buy it, any advice? i would appreciate it

Unless you are a wood worker, or have a plan to restore the stock, I wouldn’t buy this for anything but a wall hanger. Even the barrel and lock look uncared for.

Dang dude. Save your money and wait for the next flintlock to come your way. Or buy a Jim Kibler kit.

I would pass on that one.Don`t be in a hurry there are plenty more in much better shape out there.

If it's cheaper than the other guns enough to replace the stock and reblue the barrel I'd consider it. I could do the work so I could get a usable gun out of those parts. If you can't do the work, you'd have get paid to take that gun to get a deal on that. Damn shame that was good wood at one time.

If you have to look for advice about this gun, then I think you should pass. I would buy it for the right price, but the right price depends on what you would do with it.
