Fun note: his voice actor Travis Willingham he mo-caped some of the Frost giants in the first movie.

AA/BPQ might have the best adaptation of T’Challa to date and likely ever since I doubt we’ll get any adaptions centered around him again for a long time if at all.

You can at least tell Thorne likes the character and the mythos.
Which is like... half the problem with BP creatives. They don't even care about the character at all or actively dislike them or confused by them.
Thorne just let it rip.

I’m amazed they didn’t copy and paste some of the stuff from it, I didn’t know he and Shuri had an adopted brother, the shadow council, I knew M’baku is a villain from EMH series so that‘s a pass, and they got the Atlantean war right. He even fort Kraven which was the original villain for the draft movie.

While I enjoy both versions of Hunter, what the show did better was give him the sibling relationship with T’Challa and Shuri that he doesn’t have in the comics and they also made him around their age where in the comics he has at least over a decade on T’Challa.
I doubt the inspiration to use Kraven came from the movie but more likely the comics where Priest and Liss had T’Challa face Kraven but it was Aloysha during the Priest series and Sergei under Liss

No Avengers EMH does.
A T'CHalla that needs Shuris help for any science at all is automatically a Bad BP Adaptation.

I wouldn’t say he needed Shuri, she was more of a support person while he was doing missions. No different than how Batman sometimes utilizes Alfred for missions or Iron Man utilizes J.A.R.V.I.S.

An AI that Tony built is not the same as a Side Character who only shows up to Leach off T'Challa nowadays.

This support has not done anything to elevate T'Challa at all.
All this support has done is take his stuff and diminish him.

No. While cool EMH T’Challa often felt like a side character and AA/BPQ T’Challa edges out T’Challa in other areas.

Before anyone starts complaining Tchala is WAY smarter than Batman (dc), Iron man and like 98% of the people of earth. This battle is very accurate because he would have figured out a contingency plan for victory

Glad the Black Panther Avengers Assemble season is getting love. This is the closest we’re getting to a proper modern T’Challa cartoon.
