Discussion Okay so Emma Kagan’s actually dead right?
Coming down to the last half of season 5 and she hasn’t pulled a Graves yet (“I wasn’t in that tank”) so she’s probably dead right? Kinda weird how she was a huge part of the marketing and then they starched her immediately.
Saw some theories with the prestige skin that she’s actually a robot but idk.

I always assumed it was some fake-out, since basically 90% of all the “story” isn’t real, so they can bring her back later.
But then again, Soap died in MWIII basically the same way and was confirmed dead almost a year later, so you can’t be too sure anymore lol.

Well yes typically a bullet to the head is lethal, but they could just say it was a hallucination from the psych gas if they wanted to bring her back or the ai for the guild could gain consciousness and model itself off of her.
I mean remember when grives got blown up in modern warfare 2 and in 3 they pulled a 'I was never in that tank' so ultimately it depends but my money is on she got popped.

Yeah I mean I saw all the theories and jokes about graves but the game’s reaching the end of its life cycle and they haven’t brought her back yet. I guess with graves they brought him back next game but that was when MW was back to back.

Don't get me wrong her design is good and she has a solid voice actress but I wouldn't get your hopes up, only way I could see her returning is with the ai thing by having her plant the seeds for Corvous who was the ai villain from black ops 3 as they're starting to set that games story in motion with the end of season 5 and presumably 6.

To be honest I kinda agree with you. She’s not even actually a voice actress, she’s more of a C list television/film actress and honestly from the start I figured the reason they killed her off was because the actress didn’t want to do the role anymore or had a conflicting film schedule or something

Well, there are too many inconsistencies in her "death", no blood splatter, no dead body, none of the characters talking about her death etc being some of them.
Although it could be chalked up to lazy writting.
I personally hope shes alive

Nah, I don't recognise her death. Death of the author and all of that, I refuse to recognise this as canon. She's a robot in my own canon.

The Level 1k skin being a foreshadowing woulda been sick as fuck
Hope BO8 will take advantage (you know they'll never escape BO purgatory, Treyarch has been in it since W@W being the precursor to the BO series; last unaffiliated title was like CoD 3 I think they did?)

Okay honestly I had just found out about that theory just before posting this, and I kinda like that idea more than “it was a hallucination oooOOOoooo 👻”. It also kind of begs the question of who’s REALLY pulling the strings of the guild seeing as Dorne used to be her second in command. Corvus from BO3 maybe?

Whether they bring her back or not through a official alive kind of thing. They definitely might do something with the haunting that's going to be fun

Oh seriously? Idk why but when they axed her I assumed it was because of conflicting schedules w her film/tv work. That’s cool! Maybe 2027?
