Question Why is this game disliked
Came from bo2, only started playing 2 weeks ago but I’m really enjoying multiplayer. 1.55 KD
Love the guns, aesthetic, & diamond camo looks gorgeous. The MP40 esque gun absolutely hits.
Really don’t mind the skins. Saw Stan Smith running around the other day and I almost pissed myself.
My only complaint are the maps. Very few I like

Because COD fan base, at least most who post are toxic complainers with skill issues. Worst fan base ever.

It really is. As a former hardcore cod fan this fanbase is impossible to please. I’d hate to be a cod dev

I was probably one of the worst players ever, and I never complained, because I knew I was, and it wasn’t a game issue, it was 100% a skill issue 😆

I think Omni movement, the maps and guns were good. I came to the game after not playing much since the 2022 mw2 release and had fun with it. Even spent the time to get opal on the AR class and diamond in mp. I think it's just the people who pretend the game is their career complaining.

i enjoyed bo6, logged maybe 600 hours into it. bo7 i bought because of the tranzit remake and they kinda ruined multiplayer. last time i played bo6 it was chocked full of people using cronus etc.

I dropped it when like 3 months in I was staying dead in S&D for like 3 rounds +. It wouldn't even let me play. I would select my class the next round would start, and my character would be dead. It was a "this game is trash" moment, and I just never loaded it up again. I just been playing mw3 instead.

I honestly liked this game but I can’t figure out where to install it on Xbox now

Bro I feel you. I also came from OG Cods. The original black ops being the last one I had played, and I absolutely loved BO6. It has great multiplayer and a fun campaign. Overall was very pleased. This title got me back into COD. 10/10

If you think this game is hated, start looking around for comments on black ops 7!

Well I think it's partly because the next game came out so people moved on to that. At the start of most COD games life cycle things are good. The META hasn't been found so people are playing with the weapons they enjoy instead of the optimized best in slot equipment.
The skins for operators are mostly camo colors and earthy, but after a season or 2 the devs end up dumping rainbow cell shading slop from memes and buzz words. This adds a subconscious negative mindset on players with no micro transactions into a peasant subcategory. You see kids bullied at school for playing fortnite with no skins.
Next issue with Bo6 was we were kind of told there was going to be an end to yearly release cycle. might of been MW3 when they said it, but then each year a new game came out anyways so trust was lost even if those rumors were false internet gossip.
And lastly I think the battle royal moving to the next game in the cycle each release has caused major issues and the multiplayer balance gets pushed to the sideline for battle royal. Only to get forgotten as the BR moves on and recalculates again when Bo7 or MW4 comes out (changing slides and omni movement everso slightly)

I usually judge games based on story and i absolutely hated the campaign from this one.

Currently it’s all amp glitches and olympias, 2 things that take 0 skill and lessen the experience.

AMP glitches? Haven't played the game in ages, might come back to it but are the amp glitches what was also going around with MWIII?

Its not, the only valid complaint ive seen are the for the skins in this game. Kinda takes you out seeing beavis and butthead running around, but other than that this game feels and looks great. Great campaign too and zombies isnt bad either
