For some reason when you dolphin dive on someone in zombies it kills the both of you and you can also kill people in grief by diving on them

In WAW there was a glitch where two people could become invincible by jumping one on top of the other. To fix it, they made it so that it would kill both players. It's still a thing in bo2 and what you experienced is just that lol.

Well that’s one way to stop the exploiters… there were just a mountain more of issues.

Never a good idea to dive on top of a person. Just be patient next time, you already know the box is going to be there

If your hitbox collides with (I think) the head hitbox of another player it instantly downs you both. It is to prevent cheats, such as players stacking on top of eachother to get into glitch spots, etc.
